Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Tile Installer to join our growing team. The Jr. Tile Installer will work under the supervision of the Lead Tile Installer, assisting with the preparation and installation of tile in various settings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience in tile work looking to further develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing surfaces for tile installation, including cleaning, leveling, and removing old materials.
• Measure, cut, and layout tiles under the direction of the Lead Installer, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
• Mix and apply grout and adhesives as needed for installations.
• Help with finishing details such as applying sealants and ensuring clean edges.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
• Support the Lead Installer in maintaining project timelines and meeting quality standards.
• Perform basic tool and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in tile installation or construction.
• Basic knowledge of tile materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Harrisburg area.
